To know more about Fractures II Campaign, read the Intro post.
Session date: November, 10, 2018.
In-game date: August, 27, 2018, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
PCs
- Carter Johnson (213 points), a biathlon athlete, addicted to doping drugs, that can’t smell and likes too much to party and gamble.
- John Menen (212 points), an ex-soldier that fought at Afghanistan, now a farmer with flashbacks and trouble controlling its temper.
- Tiwa “Indian” Wapi (212 points), a survivalist that doesn’t care too much about people and prefer to live in the woods.
- Rudolph McMurder (206 points), an alcoholic syphilitic ugly hermit that lives by his own at the Dawson forest. He is a friend of Indian. Played by the GM. Player was not at the session.
Deceased PCs
- Jack “Cool” Glover (207 points), a dyslexic non-iconographic manic-depressive beautiful and charismatic face. Killed by a particle shot from a robot at Robot Dimension.
The Cave
- The Starfishes want to kill everything that is not as beautiful as they are;
- The black creatures are no fighters, but good at biological manipulation, also they thought humans of Dawson dimension were animals, so it was ok to experiment on them;
- They modified the Dawson populace to fight the Starfishes;
- Black aliens can communicate through dimensions;
- Starfishes can let the portals be indefinitely open;
- Neither race can force a fracture to open.
The Tree
McMurder stayed with the black aliens to be healed, and the rest of the party went to find the tree. They arrived at the indicated place and tried to communicate. Although most of them have negative reaction modifiers, John rolled a 17, and the Tree decided to speak.
They discovered that the Guardians don’t care if the Starfishes kill everybody provided that they don’t destroy the dimensions.
They are the guardians of the dimensions and not the guardians of the people.
The Tree revealed that the group has dimensional instability (the secret disadvantage) and that could endanger the dimensions, but if the party agreed to be killed by the Tree, it would help them stop the invasion.
They agreed since they didn’t have much choice, and asked the Tree to kill all the Starfish, but it couldn’t interfere with dimensions taken care of by other Trees.
Finally, it produced some fruit that when ate gave them the skills to use the weaponry from the dimension with the robots (nanobots gave them 4 points at Armoury TL12 – Battlesuits and Small Arms, Beam Weapons (Rifle) TL 12, Broadsword, Environmental Suit (Battlesuit) TL 12). It also makes them immune to the awe effect caused by the beauty of the starfishes.
The Museum
They went to the Museum to grab the historical Black Sword. On the way, they faced around 30 modified humans. They accelerated their motorcycles and tried to dodge the attacks. Carter succeeded at his (Driving /2 +3 + 1 for Combat Reflexes – A Driving-Based Dodge) roll.
John failed, and three modified townspeople attacked him and Indian. Indian shot with the particle rifle he got during the last session and killed two, but missed the third.
John dodged the attack and kept the bike under control. They decided not to fight and drove straight away to the museum.
On the way, they saw 5 starfish soldiers protecting two other that were building some structure around the portal on the main street.
Indian shoot the museum door that burst to flames and John used his moto as a battering ram. Inside, they grabbed the black sword and left to the robots portal.
Fighting Robots
Inside the Fracture, lots of air jets were flying by. They left their motos close to the portal and walked stealthily to the bunker. They saw 10 robots searching around the destroyed city, but avoided them. When they were almost at the bunker entrance, they were attacked by a 10m (10y) robot centipede.
Indian and Carter shot it but to no avail. John used his sword and stuck it into the centipede eye killing it. They entered the bunker before the other robots could arrive.
All monitors lighted on, and they saw factories producing more robots and air jets. Also, there were patrols of robots and air jets around the world.
The group suited the battlesuits up, grabbed 94 D cells and medical supplies (1d100 roll, and Indian used Luck), black swords and particle rifles. They also hauled equipment for McMurder.
When they left the bunker, the robots were waiting for them.
They surprised the robots, and a quick fight ensued. Indian and Carter firing their particle rifles and John using his black sword. Carter almost died (he got close to -5*HP), and when the robots detected his life signs were fading, they concentrated fire on him. But, in the end, the party destroyed the ten robots and head back fast to the fracture, before any reinforcements could arrive.

Analysis:
- Indian player said this session was the best one since we started the campaign. That’s a plus.
- I need to up my combat game. The robots need to use better strategies and tactics. They wipe humanity out at their dimension, so they need to fight better.
- I need to remember to enforce their disadvantages.
- Gunslinger is incredible when you can use high accuracy weapons.
- XP: Everybody got 2XP/Hour (6XP).
- Extra XP went to Indian player for being awesome negotiating with all the races.

Data da Sessão: 10 de Novembro de 2018.
Data no jogo: 27 de agosto de 2018, das 12h00 às 15h00
PJs
É amigo do Índio.
PJs Mortos
A Caverna
- As Estrelas-do-Mar querem matar tudo que não for tão belo quanto elas;
- As criaturas negras não são combatentes, mas são bons em manipulação biológica. Elas pensaram que os humanos da dimensão de Dawson eram animais, por isso não havia problemas em realizar experimentos neles;
- Elas modificaram a população de Dawson para lutar contra as Estrelas-do-Mar;
- Os aliens negros podem se comunicar através das dimensões;
- As Estrelas-do-Mar conseguem manter os portais abertos indefinidamente;
A Árvore

- Eu preciso melhor meu combate.
