English Version // Versão em Português
I was going to make a single post with the 150-point and 70-point versions plus analysis, but it was becoming highly cluttered and difficult to follow. So I preferred to divide the post into three separate texts.
There are a few things that need to be modified.
Water and food: I believe the need for water and food should be abstracted since we will use the Long-Term Fatigue rules. We don’t need to track how much water or food the character has; we just need to know if they have the basics to survive the day. This abstraction is something to consider.
The second thing is buying armor by parts allows for better use of money and weight, but having to keep track of different DRs for each body part may slow down the game. It’s something to be considered.
The 70-point version with Speed 3 is very slow. Although the rifle has a good range and the character can aim every other turn, if he needs to approach a target or keep up with the Hulk in the group, things will be quite slow. For both versions, having 24 bullets for a weapon with 6 shots means it can be reloaded 4 times. Clearly, each shot counts. I would like to add a bayonet to the rifle, but I couldn’t find the rules for it in the basic set. It’s only mentioned that it would be used with the Spear skill, but no specific stats for the weapon.
The Quick Reload perk allows the character to reload the rifle with a Ready maneuver upon a successful Fast-Draw (Ammo) skill test. The character has a gun skill level of 20 or 21 if they Aim for one turn, meaning they can hit a target at a range of 15 to 20 yards without issues. Every 13 turns, he spends 6 bullets. Perhaps some close combat skills would be useful for situations when he runs out of ammunition.
The real test will be in the scenario example.
