English Version // Versão em Português
I was going to make a single post with the 150-point and 70-point versions plus analysis, but it was becoming highly cluttered and difficult to follow. So I preferred to divide the post into three separate texts.
There are a few things that need to be modified.
Water and food: I believe the need for water and food should be abstracted since we will use the Long-Term Fatigue rules. We don’t need to track how much water or food the character has; we just need to know if they have the basics to survive the day. This abstraction is something to consider.
The second thing is buying armor by parts allows for better use of money and weight, but having to keep track of different DRs for each body part may slow down the game. It’s something to be considered.
The Scavenger is one of the characters I need to test the most. He is similar to a thief in a medieval fantasy game and is a profession I have little experience with. He is decent in combat as long as he doesn’t stay in the frontline.
Regarding the choice between a 70-point and a 150-point character, the 70-point Scavenger can effectively fulfill his niche as the group’s looter in the shadows. Even with 150 points, this character is not designed for combat and should prioritize developing his social and negotiation skills.
The real test will be in the scenario example.
